Besides signing his name bigger than everyone else on the Declaration of Independence, Hancock also gave you this ground-moving 80s music video. Keep in mind that this guy beat out Kanye West, Foo Fighters and Amy Winehouse.

I'm proud of the grammys for giving album of the year to hancock. Music awards shouldn't go to albums and artists simply because they're the most profitable. Herbie Hancock was definitely the best musician in the group and was recognized as such. If you want cultural relevence then go watch american idol.
